Ethiopia Earns $2.8 billion Revenue from Export

Ethiopia has earned 2.8 billion US dollars from export of different commodities in the past 10 months of the current fiscal which started July 8, 2020.

Compare to same period the previous year, the revenue has increased by 16 percent, said Melaku Alebel, minister of trade and industry.

In the tenth month of the fiscal year alone, the country earned 347 million US dollars, showing a 5 percent increase from revenue registered in the same month of previous budget year.

The ministry, however, has failed to hit its revenue target for the period which was nearly 3.3bln US dollars.
